Friendship is like the warmth of a summer sun,
The tales of mountains mastered, battles won,
The listening of repeated, often boring tales,
The helping hand held out when all else fails.
Friendship is the keeping of some secret told,
Of being there and giving comfort when one's old,
Of knowing when and where and what to say,
Of saving words of good advice for yet another day.
Friendship is knowing that you can ask
A favour to be done no matter what the task,
Knowing that you would do for someone else the same,
Friendship is truly and simply playing the game.
CLOUD TEN

I have touched the centre of the earth
I've floated round the universe
I've hugged the moon
I've kissed the stars
I've even picnicked up on Mars
I've changed the poles
from north to south
I've slept inside
the Sphinx's mouth
I've climbed the peaks
I've sailed the seas
picked bunches of my favourite trees
I have done everything it seems
but all of it was in
my dreams
